Introduction

I am Mobina Vatandoost (artist name Mubie), an independent artist, lyricist, and art curator with a background in industrial design and a master's degree in Postdigital Lutherie at Kunstuniversität Linz. I have been working in the fields of music, visual storytelling, and design since 2016.

While I am also a co-founder of the independent music label SLVC Records, this project represents my personal journey as an artist and creator. I aim to share my artistic process, showcase my work, and connect with the Linz community through interactive workshops and exhibits.

My Vision for the PopUp Store

The PopUp Store will be an interactive space where I can connect with the public and share my creative projects. My focus will be on three main areas:

1. Showcasing My Artwork:

• A collection of generative, original visuals I created for music projects and collaborations.
• These visuals will be available as high-quality printed art in various sizes for visitors to explore and purchase.

1. Workshops and Knowledge Sharing:
2. I plan to host two workshops designed for creatives and enthusiasts:

• Workshop 1: 3D Modeling and Design with Rhino & TouchDesignerExploringdigital tools and creative techniques I use to merge design with music and visuals.
• Workshop 2: Writing Lyrics and Exploring StorytellingTeachingcreative writing techniques, genre-specific approaches to lyricism, and how personal storytelling can resonate with audiences.

1. These workshops will highlight my decade-long experience as a lyricist and my passion for blending traditional and modern art forms. Entry is €10, with an option for donations.
2. Community Engagement:

• A welcoming space for conversations, networking, and sharing experiences with visitors.
• A small bar offering cookies and drinks to create a relaxed atmosphere.

As an artist based in Linz, I see the PopUp Store as a unique opportunity to showcase my personal journey and connect directly with the community. By sharing my work and offering workshops, I hope to inspire creativity and provide practical tools for others to explore their artistic potential.

Space Requirements

• Wall and table space to display and sell my artwork.
• Seating for workshops and discussions.
• A small corner for the bar setup.

My Goal

I aim to create an inspiring and interactive experience for visitors while sharing insights into the creative process. This project is a reflection of my personal growth as an artist and my desire to connect and contribute to the Linz community.
